June 2010.

June is going to be HUGE. I loved June. It was such a super fun month. My baby brother Tony graduated from High School! I still can't believe it. He is in college now, which means, oh my heck, I am freaking old. Naturally, ALL the relatives made the trip to Washington to see him Graduate. Not only did he graduate with top honors, but he was also the student speaker! His speech was hilarious and he received a standing ovation for his efforts.

It was a blast celebrating Tony's accomplishment with the Fam. We ran the Sound to Narrows race, ate out on the Puget Sound waterfront, played outside with Mr. Par, and made a day trip to Seattle.

We were also in desperate need to celebrate Tyler's graduation in June. So we did what any other person would do when they can't afford to go to Disneyland... We went to the Oregon Coast! We voyaged our way down the coast stopping at Astoria (Goonies!), Seaside, Cannon Beach, Lincoln City, and Depoe Bay. Apparently summer festivities don't start in Seaside until July so our bumper cars were closed. Nevertheless, we still played in the arcade and strut our stuff down the boardwalk. At Cannon Beach we made a necessary stop at Pizza A'fetta. Let me tell you something: Pizza A'fetta has the best pizza in the western United States. Hands down. Don't believe me? Well its your loss for not trying it! BEST. PIZZA. EVER.

At last, we made our way to Lincoln City where we checked into our hotel. Apparently, June is the time to travel down the Oregon coast because it was a ghost town. We were the only ones on the beach, only ones at the pool, only ones picking out salt water taffy and the only ones trying to build a bon fire in the pouring rain (Tyler was convinced it wasn't rain- "It's just ocean mist!!!").

Somehow the infamous doll head made it into my purse. So it gave a whole new meaning to "Inn at Spanish HEAD" Mwahaha.

We made it back to Utah just in time for Kelristopher's wedding! Holy cow their wedding was a hoot! It was a prime reflection of their personalities and relationship. Bright colors, fiesta, Mexican food, pinata... It was perfect!
